Dr. Nishat Shahabuddin
A board-certified specialist in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics, Dr. Shahabuddin is committed to helping all her patients achieve a brilliant and healthy smile. She has a passion for the esthetic side of dentistry and understands that designing a smile is an art.
If she’s not talking to you about tooth science, this friendly neighborhood orthodontist will tell you all about her life growing up in Queens, and learning from her dad, a seasoned dental practitioner with over 40 years of experience. Dr. Shahabuddin also spent 10 years growing up in Philadelphia: she is a four-time graduate of the University of Pennsylvania. Not only did she sub-matriculate in the Seven Year Bio-Dental program at Penn, but she also obtained a dual-degree in Translational Research while in dental school.
Now living in Queens with her husband and her cat, Donut, she spends her free time exercising or baking up a storm in the kitchen.
She loves getting to know her patients – and will give you a big smile every time you choose to share a piece of your story with her. So come see us, and let her magically transform your teeth into the smile you always wanted!
